I decide my life
I am my own person
I am free
You will not control me
I will fly
Nothing will hold me back
I am free
The words of this poem have the meaning of one pushing past all the trials of life. I believe it is important for one to realize that you can choose to break free from the negative influences in your life. You can choose to be free. You are the one that decides what you put up with in life. And when something is hurting you more than it is helping you; sometimes it is best to break free and let it go, so ultimately you can be free... you can fly!
And thus I say... I will fly past it all. My wings may get broken and hurt along the way, but they will heal. And my wings will be stronger and bolder the next time around. And one day they will be strong enough that I will break free...I will fly!

A peek inside the Names of God mini book..
This is a peek inside the Names of God mini book. There are way too many pages for me to take pictures of them all, so I thought I would just give everyone an idea. I orginally just uploaded the cover, but have had request to see the inside. I used simple index cards to record each name I studied. I used various stamps, ink, paint to complete it. Even with the many pages it has, there are so many names of God mentioned in the Bible that are not included in the pages of this book. I am, however, planning to work on another one to conclude my study in the future.
Blessings to you all!
Blessings to you all!
Names of God Mini Book
This is a personal mini book I completed during my study time of the Names of God. The key is actually chipboard that has been altered to match the book; tied on with paper ribbon.
Much love and peace to you all!

Happy Father's Day!
This is something special for my dad. I truly have the greatest dad in the whole world; A dad that is full of compassion, yet strong and handsome. My dad is the most loyal person I know. He walks in integrity not only at home, but in the world as well.
I am so proud to have him as my Father. I wanted everyone to see some of his beautiful pictures in this slide show. He is so gifted and patient with the camera.
He has selflessly taught me to see beauty in nature. I have spent many moments with him on long walks, hikes, and trips. Those memories are priceless to me... The talks we had, and laughs we shared. These moments have been some of the most influencing moments in my life. My dad has worked so hard for me. He deserves so much more than I can possibly say about him or give him. He deserves to be honored greatly by me. And I am humbled as I think about how blessed I am to have a Father like him. I truly can't say enough good things about him.
I love you so much Daddy!

Dance While I Create
This is another page from my art book journal. The page is all about today. Today, I challenged myself by striving to find beauty in everything, even the unpleasant ones as well. And during my meditation of accomplishing this, I realized that I haven't danced in a long time during my creative time. Now I know this may sound odd to some of you, but I find it very soothing to listen to music when I am painting or making something. It actually helps me stay focused on my project as well. I have found that dancing to my music actually can energize you during the process. It makes you feel so much better. And honestly, some of us can use a little silly sporadic behavior sometimes. It truly makes life more fun and much more interesting.
Now, I must be back to getting my groove on for now...lol.
Love, joy, and a little fun to you all,

The Beauty Of Light
The beauty of light
Flows through my heart
Moments of tenderness
Protrude in my art
To gaze upon fire
I feel it's glow

Simply The Best
Memory book page of my little beloved feline, Sassy. Isn't she looking like she could kill me for taking the picture...lol.!
Stick Birdie Tutorial
This is a quick tutorial on how to make the stick birdies you can see on my page titled “Simple The Best”.
Keep in mind that you can use other shapes to make these with, like circles, stars, hearts, like so.
Any template or shape should work. You can also find the bird templates in the freebies section of my Flickr pages. However any bird template should work if you already have one.
Step One: Cut out the bird templates.
Step Two: Find the desired papers you wish to use. Scraps are great for this and usually the perfect size.
Step Three: Use a removable/temporary glue to stick the template over the paper.
Step Four: Carefully tear around the edges, keeping the shape of the bird template. When you are satisfied with the results, remove the template from the patterned paper.
Step Five: If you have a paper distresser, use it to distress the edges a bit. If you don’t have an edge distresser, then just use your finger nail or the pop stick to rub and push around the edges. You may also want to lightly push the edges forward to get the exact look I achieved with mine.
Step Six: Take an ink pad and rub it gently across the edges you distressed.
Step Seven: Glue permanently onto the sticks. Note: I did not want my sticks all the same size, so I broke part of the tops off before attaching the birds.
Step Eight: Add stickers or other décor until you get your desired look.
Have fun creating!

Paper Bag Flower How To
This is a tutorial on how to make the paper bag flowers. You may also use a wide variety of other materials to do this. Since I am using my Vintage Plum Kit, I decided to use the packing paper from my package to do this to make embellishment needed to finish my page.
Step one:
Tear 5-10 strips of the paper in approximately. 12x1 inch strips. You can play around with this and try different sizes too depending on the size you need for your project.
Step Two:
Fold each strip in half. Now you should have 12 inch folded strips.
Step Three:
Tear 2 inch pieces from the strips. This should yield you at least 5 strips, depending on the size you choose.
Step Four:
Take the two inch folded strips fold them in the middle. when you have a crease from the fold, open them back up and you can use the crease as a guide line for this next fold. Now fold the top part of the front side back. Make sure to leave the back side unfolded. Do the same on the bottom front part of the strip. Finish making up the rest of these pieces.
Step Five:
Then take another folded strip and place glue in place. You will want to slightly rotate the pieces around so you will be forming a circle as you glue these pieces together. When your flower is full bloomed, and just the way you want it, take one of the game pieces and glue to the center. Now that your flower is finished, just attach to your page or project.

Stop the Hunger
This piece was made in observance of world hunger. It breaks my heart to see children & adults who live in hunger.
You will notice the stamp. In my eyes I see this as actually saying Peace For Food. Because it is when you are fed that you can feel comfort and peace from the hunger and suffering.
Therefore I pray not only for peace but also for awareness that there is hunger in the world. I pray that each person suffering may be filled to comfort and well-being and live in peace and harmony.
