HotPink Flowers
This picture was taken by my dad, whom I love so very much. Yes, I am a daddy's girl and a family girl too. When I am not doing art, I am usually with my family. I just can't live without them. I love them so much. My dad takes some of the most beautiful pictures. And I am very fortunate to have access to them for inspiration. The colors are bright and gorgeous on these flowers. They make me want to do art and use the color pink.

New Additions~ Number's Game
New additions added to my Number's Game Series posted on Flickr. This set is coming along wonderfully. I can hardly wait to make the number seven card. I am making each one of these in an unique shape that is different than the usual ATC shape. Although each one of these is the approximate size of an ATC, they each one have their own individuality in shape. I am still planning to go all the way to a full deck or maybe even to one hundred. Wow! This is going to be quiet a collection.

EnjoyLifeAnyway
This is a Art Journal entry.
I did this one in meditation of how we tend to let problems and circumstances determine whether we enjoy our life.
The funny thing is, that it is actually our choice. We choose whether to let our problems or circumstances bother us to the point that we don't enjoy our everyday life.
So instead of letting problems steal our joy, we can make the decision to enjoy life anyway...even with the problem.

Free To Fly
I am free to fly
I am free to soar
Across the sky
Beyond this world
To a place on high
To a place I'm free
Free to imagine
Free to be me

This is a mixed media piece I just completed. I had so much fun painting this bird. I kept seeing the image in my mind so I painted it in my art journal. And loved it so much, I just had to have one on canvas as well. The poem above details the meaning of the painting. I truly do feel like I am flying when I do art. I get swept away from this world into whatever I am working on. Art is my stress reliever. It is a special time that I am free to be myself, dream and create whatever I want.

Embrace Simplicity
I was reminded of simplicity while creating this Artist Trading Card. Sometimes it feels good to just be simple in my creations. Like this one, I merely glued a few pieces of paper together. The right choice of colors and paper was combined into a beautiful creation in merely moments without worry or hassle of perfection.
Ah...simplicity, I have enjoyed embracing thee.

Two
This is the second card of my It's A Numbers Game series posted today on Flickr. I am enjoying the creation of these cards so much. I have always loved using numbers in my artwork.
I also wanted to try to add some shape to these as well. So far, they are looking pretty good.
